Ingredients: Sugar, glucose syrup, molasses, wheat flour, corn starch, stabiliser: glycerol, sorbitol, dextrose, liquorice, acidifiers: citric acid, lactic acid, malic acid, fumaric acid, modified potato starch, gelatine (pork), salt, emulsifiers: E471, flavourings, vegetable concentrates (lemon, saffron), colouring agents: E150, E120, acidity regulator: sodium citrate, vegetable oil, glazing agents: beeswax.
Liquorice is a plant, the root of which has been used in medicine for thousands of years. Pliny the ancient Greek writer describes its use in treating colds and asthma.
